Associate Financial Planner

The Associate Financial Planner supports the firm’s objective of building caring relationships that empower those we serve to lead fulfilling lives. They help accomplish this by providing analytical (qualitative and quantitative) support to Financial Planners in the development of comprehensive financial plans for our clients.

The Associate Financial Planner will provide exemplary advice and service to a base of 60-100 clients on matters related to Financial Advising and Investment Management. They will assist Planners in the development of comprehensive financial plans, respond to ad hoc questions, and assist clients with implementation of financial and investment plans.

Essential Functions:

  • Meet with clients (alongside the Planner)
  • Interpret financial information and input into planning and investment software
  • Update clients’ financial information in our database on an ongoing basis
  • Write and update clients’ financial plan
  • Identify gaps in clients’ plans relative to their goals, then strategize methods of reducing or eliminating those gaps
  • Educate clients in financial planning and investment concepts
  • Respond to ad hoc client questions
  • Convey complex strategies in both oral and written form
  • Juggle multiple projects at one time and meet deadlines
  • Provide excellent client service
  • With specialty in investments, will participate in Investment Committee and help develop and monitor investment strategies

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or business related field of study
  • CFP® certification or pursuit of the designation
  • CFA® charterholder or specialty in investments is preferred
  • Related job experience preferred


$50,000.00 to $100,000.00 /year
