Job Title:  Marketing & Communications Coordinator 

Department:  Marketing
Reports To:  Director of Marketing & Communications
FLSA Status:  Non-Exempt
Part-Time: Approximately 15 hours/week

Job Purpose and Summary

The Marketing & Communications Coordinator will provide support to the marketing and communications department by coordinating social and digital media and communications as well as administrative support. The coordinator will promote the company using consistent branding with the use of graphics, logos, and other promotional content.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Provide support in writing social media and blog articles
  • Update the company website using the Content Management System
  • Review website content and provide input and recommendations on new or revised content
  • Create and format all mass emails to clients
  • Create registrations for events
  • Assist with SEO
  • Manage and track all website, email, and social media analytics
  • Upload videos to YouTube
  • Assist with virtual meeting technology
  • Proof and edit content
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Experience working with digital marketing technology and content creation.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to develop grammatically correct content that clearly conveys core messages
  • Ability to work within digital environments including social media channels and websites
  • Reliable and follows through on commitments
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Implement brand promises (“we only work for you”)
  • Proficiency with graphic design programs (ie. Adobe InDesign preferred), Eventbrite, Constant Contact, Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint

Work Environment/Physical Demands

Job operates in professional office work environment. Occasional lifting is required up to 35 pounds.
