Fun Facts:
- In high school, I was in one-act plays: “Horton Hatches an Egg” and “A Partridge in a Pear Tree”. Both plays went to state competition.
- I taught swimming lessons to young children for more than 20 years.
- Since the COVID-19 pandemic, my husband and I have traveled almost the entire state of Iowa. We have seen 62 Freedom Rocks, and now we are working on visiting the state parks.

Deb Longseth is our Client Service Specialist. Deb is also responsible for managing administration and logistics of numerous one-time and ongoing events and sponsorships directed by the Marketing and Communications Department.Deb graduated from the Des Moines Area Community College and attended Drake University. Before coming to work for Syverson Strege in 2005, she worked in higher education in Alumni and Development and Alumni Relations. Deb also belongs to Executive Women International which has been so rewarding.
Personal:
I am passionate about people and relationships. I enjoy taking road trips with my husband, reading a good book, and being a community volunteer. I also like a good home improvement project, doodling, and laughing at our dog Jaxon.
I enjoy baking and cooking. I am a planner extraordinaire, and I dabble in the beauty and skin care industry.
One of my favorite quotes is from Maya Angelou: "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel."
