    Meri's Role:

    Director of Finance & Administration

    Professional Background:

Meri Grogan is Syverson Strege’s Director of Finance and Administration. Meri has been with the firm since 2012. As her title indicates, she wears many different hats here. Meri holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern Maine. She has more than 20 years of broad-based business experience in finance and human resources. She draws upon this and her years of accounting experience to help monitor, evaluate, and reinforce Syverson Strege’s financial foundation.

    Personal:

I am constantly encouraged by our firm’s commitment to a values based life, whether it is for our clients or our team members. This manifests itself not only financially, but also influences how we all live our lives.

When not working for the Syverson Strege, I am busy with my family, which includes my husband, Tim, and two boys, Noah and Wyatt. I enjoy riding bikes with the boys, reading, family vacations to Maine, and spending time with friends.

I also have a passion for serving. I am on the Board of Directors for the Military Tribute Concert and The Andrew Giving Fund. As Winston Churchill states, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.”
