    Financial Tip:

Eleanor Roosevelt said, “It takes as much energy to wish as it does to plan.” We all have goals, but we need guidance to make those goals a reality. Planning gives us the opportunity to achieve dreams, reduce worry, and provide peace of mind.

    Fun Facts:

    • I love to run. I try to average 4-5 miles a day. It’s not unusual to find me running down Westown Parkway over the lunch hour.
    • I’ve turned into a bit of a yard guy. It may sound odd but mowing or working on a landscape project can be very relaxing!
    • One of the things I enjoy doing on the weekend is barbequing. My favorite meat to put on the Traeger is ribs.

    Personal:

When I'm away from work, my primary focus is spending time with family. Currently, I live in Urbandale with my wife, Laura, our two sons, Henry and Charlie, and our basset hound. In high school, I developed a passion for music and learned to play the guitar, bass guitar, and drums. As I've gotten older, I've pared down to a one-man band and focus mostly on playing the acoustic guitar.

My wife and I love to entertain friends and family at our house for dinner. Since my wife is a culinary arts instructor, it's never a hard sell. On the weekends, you'll often find us doing a home project or working in the yard.
